This was released under the code C13 Bard which is depicted on the May 1986 Flyer as having an open mouth (foot version while being unable to view the mounted versions mouth).
The closed mouth variant has been seen on ebay in blister pack format (marked as C13 Bard on the packaging) and is the closed mouth variant with "Bard" stamped on the front of the tab. The reverse of the tab has no markings and looks to have been smeared over on the master prior to production. Similary the mounted bard from this blister pack included a closed mouth rider and the mount itself was missing any form of identification on the tab.
Other mounts from the AD&D range included a "©TSR 1985" stamp on at least one of the parts or tab.
ADD10 - Fighter in Platemail. The mount has the "©TSR 1985" stamp on the inside of both parts of the mount.
ADD21 - Mounted Barbarian. The mount has the "©TSR 1985" stamp on the inside of both parts of the mount.
ADD48 - Cavalier. The mount has the "©TSR 1985" stamp on the tab of the right side of the mount.
