A second version of the Thudd Gun was released around 1988 or 1989. Often thought to have only been released in France by Agmat (who held the license to produce Citadel figures), examples have been sighted in blisters obviously produced in UK. This second version never appeared in any of the flyers or catalogues. The second version used entirely different components to the better known Squat Thudd Gun. The blisters included two of the IG figures shown as crew - these figures later appeared in the 1991 Catalogue

This section of the guide covers up to the 1988 catalogue.

It is common for figures to be renamed in this period. Where a figure appears in the 1988 or later catalogues, this is shown in the figure description.

Trooper Rothery and Captain Webb (1988: 400223, 1991: Imperial Guard Lasgun 11 072021/58)from the White Dwarf 98 releases were also released in a singe blister as part of the Collector Series: 1116 Star Soldiers

Rogue Trader Flyer Part Three

The original Squat Thudd Gun was released as part of the Imperial Army range in the Rogue Trader Part Three Flyer. It then appeared in White Dwarf 101. It was omitted from the 1988 and 1989 catalogues but appeared in the 1991 Blue Catalogue.

A second version of the Thudd Gun was released about the same time. Often thought to have only been released in France by Agmat (who held the license to produce Citadel figures), examples have been sighted in blisters obviously produced in UK. This second version never appeared in any of the flyers or catalogues.

Uncatalogued Thudd Gun

A second version of the Thudd Gun was released around 1988 or 1989. Often thought to have only been released in France by Agmat (who held the license to produce Citadel figures), examples have been sighted in blisters obviously produced in UK. This second version never appeared in any of the flyers or catalogues. The second version used entirely different components to the better known Squat Thudd Gun. The blisters included two of the IG figures shown as crew - these figures later appeared in the 1991 Catalogue
