Consulting the Rogue Trader Forces of the Imperium Collectors Guide and the Imperial Guard To 1994 - Collectors Guide may also be helpful.

Adventurers

The first Adventurer figures appeared as Rogue Trader in the March 1987 Flyer. The next figure appeared in the Rogue Trader Flyer Part One with the rest of the range appearing in the Rogue Trader Flyer Part Three.

By the time the 1991 Blue Catalogue was published, half the range were out of production. Of the ones that remained, some were still in the Adventurers range while a few had been moved to the Forces of the Imperium range.

A single new adventurer figure appeared in White Dwarf 118 in October 1989.

For ease of reference the 1988 catalogue references are shown where applicable. Where one of the original range still appears in the 1991 Blue Catalogue the reference is shown.

The Punk (1988:400505) and the Space Pirate (1988: 400512, 1991: Adventurer with Meltagun 072518/33) were also released in a single blister as part of the Collector Series: 1511 Rogue Traders.

The RogueTrader Flyer Part Three also showed the Talsiman Timescape range, several of which clearly fit into the Adventurer category.

Mercenaries

Six of the Mercenaries first appeared in the first Rogue Trader releases in the March 1987 Flyer.

The Rogue Trader Mercenaries first appeared as a range in the Rogue Trader Flyer Part One in November 1987. By the time the 1991 Blue Ctalogue was published, all but a few were out of production and those few had been transferred to the Imperial Guard, Adventurers and Forces of the Imperium ranges.

For ease of reference the 1988 catalogue references are shown where applicable. Where one of the original range still appears in the 1991 Blue Catalogue the reference is shown.

Iron Claw Space Pirates

The Iron Claw Space Pirates first appeared in the Rogue Trader Flyer Part One with the full range shown in the January 1988 Flyer and the Book of the Astronomican. By the time the 1991 Blue Catalogue was published, all the range had been discontinued

Pirates

A pirate appeared with the first release of Rogue Trooper in the March 1987 Flyer. That pirate did not reappear anywhere. A single pirate also appeared in the Rogue Trader Flyer Part Three as part of the Talisman Timescape range.

The Rogue Trader Pirates range first appeared in the Summer 1988 Flyer. By the time the 1991 Blue Catalogue was published, all but a few were out of production and those few had been transferred to the Imperial Guard and Adventurers ranges.

The references in the Summer 1988 flyer were the same as shown in the 1988 Catalogue.

Where one of the original range still appears in the 1991 Blue Catalogue the reference is shown.

Interestingly, a Rogue Trader period blister pack, labelled "072520 Pirates" has been sighted. The contents of that blister were not, as would be expected, Pirates from the Rogue Trader range but a mixture of Judge Dredd Perps and a Paranoia figure.
