Rune Quest Boxed Sets 1-7 were first advertised in WD#30 (April 1982). Sculpted by the Perrys. A full listing of the figures was shown in WD#31. Although still advertised as Runequest sets in the First Citadel Compendium, some of the models were also shown as sketches as part of the newly established “C Series” ranges: C04 Thieves, C13 Night Goblins, C22 Creatures, C23 Ogres, C24 Monsters, and C30 Large Monsters.

Information on the Broo Blister Packs was found on the Empire of the Wyrms Friends website.

Supplied with separate heads and weapons.

Runequest Blister Packs: Broo

The only Runequest models sold in blisters.

First advertised in WD#46 (October 1983)as Chaos Broo. The full range appeared in Compendium One. Only a few of range had appeared in the box sets - most were different figures.

Limited Editions

The Runequest Duck was given away with the Runequest boxes. A painted example can be seen on Stuff of Legends

The Broo Assassin, which is remarkably similar to the Rabbit Assassin given away at the opening of the Manchester store, may have been given away with mail orders for the Runequest boxes. Painted examples can be seen at Stuff of Legends

In White Dwarf 86, issued in February 1983, a further special figure was advertised. No examples of the actual figure have been sighted.
