Hey there. I wanted to add smle information i had for this fig (It's me who took the picture). As i don't have the right to edit the page itself, i add here the things that the precedent owner told me.

His name is Sebastien, he is a french painter who worked for GW. He have receives 6 of those rider figurines. They have been the only 6 produced before the fig was finaly refused for production.

He first told me that :

This miniature was sculpted by Micheal and Alan Perry before the plastic Riders of Rohan were ready. They were given to the painters to paint so that Games Workshop could photograph them for the books and to promote the game. I was given several to paint and this one wasn't finished in time, so I was allowed to keep it. I have since stripped the paint from the miniature, but small amounts remain on the horse and in the riders mouth.

And then, when i asked for more informations :

I am absolutly sure that the Rider of Rohan is unreleased. Games Workshop had Alan and Michael Perry sculpt several miniatures to show Newline Designs what they could do if they were given the rights to the Lord of The Rings miniatures game. Amongst others they made metal Goblins and Riders of Rohan. The Goblins and Riders of Rohan were later re-sculpted and made into plastic miniatures. I was given the Riders of Rohan to paint in 2001 as my brother and I were working as freelance painters and scenery makers. Games Workshop were our biggest customer, I used to work for Games Workshop and I had a lot fo contacts in the company at that time and our studio was 5 minutes away from their Lenton HQ. We made display tables, top of the range gaming tables and diorama display cabinets for Games Workshop. We even made a Mines of Moria table for use in a TV advert for their deal with DeAgostini for their Lord of The Rings magazine. The Rider of Rohan was given to me to paint at that time, I was given six to paint but Games Workshop later told me that they only needed five so I didn't need to paint the sixth figure and I could keep it. My brother and I had to sign non disclosure agreements for all the projects we worked on so at the time we couldn't advertise as doing work for Games Workshop. The metal Riders of Rohan are very rare and not many people know about them. I'll have a look and see if I can find some online sources to verify my claim. I know that the Collecting Citadel Miniatures site doesn't even mention them. I'll message you if I can find anything.
