This set of figures represents a trio of Githyanki, otherworldly psionic warriors from the Astral Plane. They were sold in packs of 3 different poses. The only differences seen are in headwear and facial features

ADD69 - Githyanki Pose 1

This Githyanki warrior carries a curved scimitar in his right hand. He wears an ornate combination of chainmail and scalemail, with strips of leather bound around his feet, lower legs and wrists. He wears a narrow, flowing skirt and a delicately jewelled gorget.

  Githyanki 1A. This particular variant wears a jewelled headband, and sports the typical Githyanki hairstyle; swept back and upwards into a forwards-pointing peak. He is looking straight forwards with his mouth slightly open in a snarl.

  Githyanki 1B. This variant wears an ornately detailed helmet with shaped cheekguards and 3 curved fins, the upper one pointing forward in a hook-shape. His grim face is looking straight forwards with his mouth closed.

  Githyanki 1C. This Githyanki wears an ornate helmet with wide cheekguards and a pitted pattern on the surface. A row of 4 sharp horns line the top of the helmet, and he look downwards and to his right with his mouth slightly closed.

  Githyanki 1D. This variant wears an ornately detailed helmet with narrow cheekguards and an axeblade-shaped fin on the top. His fierce face is looking slightly to his right with his mouth partly open in a snarl.

  Githyanki 1E. This variant wears an intricately detailed helmet with a pitted surface pattern, small cheekguards and a pair of curved fish-like fins on the sides. His long face is looking slightly right with his mouth in a snarl.

This Githyanki warrior wields a curved two-handed sword with an ornately detailed blade. He wears intricate chainmail armour patterned with beads, leather strips and jewels. He wears a flowing skirt made of 4 narrow strips of cloth and spiked knee-protectors.

  Githyanki 2A. This particular variant wears a closely-fitting helmet with shaped cheekguards, which is decorated by the addition of 5 forward-sweeping horns. He is looking straight forwards with his mouth closed in a look of grim determination.

  Githyanki 2B. This variant wears an ornate helmet adorned with a crest shaped like a tall U-shaped design with the upper ends shaped like wide bolts of lightning. His face is looking straight forwards with his mouth open in a shout.

  Githyanki 2C. This Githyanki variant wears a jewelled headband, and sports the typical Githyanki hairstyle; swept back and upwards into a forwards-pointing peak. He is looking to his right with his mouth closed.

  Githyanki 2D. This variant wears an ornately detailed helmet with small cheekguards, a pitted surface and a bird-shaped fin on the top. His fierce face is looking to his right with his mouth partly open in a snarl.

  Githyanki 2E. This variant wears a beaded headband, and sports the typical Githyanki hairstyle; swept back and upwards into a forwards-pointing peak. He is looking over his left shoulder with his mouth closed. Note that the centre of the chin is level with the 6th of 7 strips of shoulder armour (counting from the viewer's right).

  Githyanki 2F. This figure is identical in all ways to variant E, but the position of the head seems to have been altered slightly. It is possible that this change was made because of a problem with casting, but we may never know! On this figure, the centre of the chin is level with the gap between the 4th and 5th strip of shoulder armour

ADD69 - Githyanki Pose 3

This Githyanki warrior wields a straight-bladed two-handed sword with an ornate hilt. He wears chainmail leggings with metal greaves, and armour patterned with beads, leather strips and jewels. He wears a flowing surcoat, and his leather strips bound around his arms.

  Githyanki 3A. This particular variant wears a pitted, conical helmet with small cheekguards which allow his large, pointed ears to protrude, and a crescent shaped plate on the front. He is looking straight forwards with his mouth closed in a look of grim determination.

  Githyanki 3B. This Githyanki variant wears a headband with a disc-shaped pattern, and sports the typical Githyanki hairstyle; swept back and upwards into a forwards-pointing peak. He is looking forwards with his mouth hidden in the crook of his arm.

  Githyanki 3C. This Githyanki wears a jewelled, beaded headband, and sports the typical Githyanki hairstyle; swept back and upwards into a forwards-pointing peak. He is over his left shoulder with his mouth slightly open in a snarl.

  Githyanki 3D. This variant wears an ornately detailed helmet with a pitted design, narrow cheekguards, and 2 large, curving arms which extend forwards from the back of the head, ending in rounded tips. The warrior's hair flops forwards from a hole in the top of the helmet. His narrow face is looking forwards, with his chin resting on his left wrist.

  Githyanki 3E. This warrior wears an ornate helmet with small cheekguards, a long neckguard, a pitted surface and a shark's-fin-shaped blade ending in a ball on either side. His face is looking upwards and slightly to his left.
