JAIN ZAR

When Asurmen raised the first Aspect Warriors he selected Jain Zar for her speed and ferocity, and she became the first of the Asurya. Jain Zar travelled the Webway, teaching her warrior skills to the Eldar and soon there were shrines to the Howling Banshees on all the large Craftworlds. Of all the Phoenix Lords Jain Zar is the most devoted to the shrines throughout the Craftworlds. She travels the Webway, visiting the shrines and nurturing her spiritual descendants. Although she might disappear for centuries at a time, she always returns, and the shrines maintain a vigil for their deadly mistress. Jain Zar carries the deadly Zhai Morenn (Blade of Destruction) and Jainas Mor (Silent Death) which she wields with devastating skill (See Howling Banshees; Asurmen; Phoenix Lords).

JAERIELA THRICE-BLESSED

An ancient Eldar hero and leader of the Eldar peoples, Jaeriela Thrice-Blessed battled alongside the war-god Khaine and the houses of Ulthanash and Eldanesh against the Yngir (see Eldanesh; Kaela Mensha Khaine; Ulthanash; Yngir).

JETBIKES

Through subtle manipulation of the gravity field, jetbikes combine high speed with incredible manoeuvrability, making them an ideal craft for launching rapid hit-and-run attacks against the enemy. Jetbikes are normally piloted by Guardians, but are also used by the Shining Spears Aspect Warriors and are prolific in warhosts from the Saim-Hann craftworld. Dark Eldar Wych Cults utilise sleek Reaver Jetbikes, covered in blades and fitted with turbo-boosters (See; Guardians; Saim-Hann; Shining Spears; Wych Cults).
