Revision as of 12:57, 15 November 2011
Rune Quest Boxed Sets 1-7 were first advertised in WD#30 (April 1982). Sculpted by the Perrys. A full listing of the figures was shown in WD#31. Although still advertised as Runequest sets in the First Citadel Compendium, some of the models were also shown as sketches as part of the newly established “C Series” ranges: C04 Thieves, C13 Night Goblins, C22 Creatures, C23 Ogres, C24 Monsters, and C30 Large Monsters.
Information on the Broo Blister Packs was found on the Empire of the Wyrms Friends website.

First advertised in WD#46 (October 1983)as Chaos Broo. The full range appeared in Compendium One. Only a few of range had appeared in the box sets - most were different figures.
Limited Editions
The Runequest Duck was given away with the Runequest boxes. A painted example can be seen on Stuff of Legends
The Broo Assassin, which is remarkably similar to the Rabbit Assassin given away at the opening of the Manchester store, may have been given away with mail orders for the Runequest boxes. Painted examples can be seen at Stuff of Legends
In White Dwarf 86, issued in February 1983, a special figure was advertised. No examples of the actual figure as depicted in the ad have been sighted. It has been suggested the free figure referred to may be the Broo Assassin above.
