These psionic brain-suckers were the scourge of high-level subterranean adventurers. These figures were sold in sets of 3, and each pose had 3 different head variants with different tentacle positions.
ADD79 - Mind Flayer 1
This Illithid is reaching forwards with his right hand, with his left held near his waist clutching a short chain connected to a cloth purse. He wears long robes with a high, stiff collar and ornate cuffs, and 2 short sashes hang from the front of his belt
Mind Flayer 1A. This variant has 4 medium-length tentacles spread evenly around his face, with connecting webs visible between them.
Mind Flayer 1B. This variant has a narrow head and 4 long tentacles hanging downwards, with connecting webs just visible.
Mind Flayer 1C. This variant has 4 long tentacles spread running along the length of his right arm, and no connecting webs visible between them.
ADD79 - Mind Flayer 2
This Mind Flayer holds a skull in his right hand, and appears to be beckoning with his outreached left. He wears long robes with a high, stiff collar and plain cuffs, an ornate scalloped belt, and a backplate bearing a raised illithid skull design.
Mind Flayer 2A. This variant has 4 medium-length tentacles spread evenly around his face, with connecting webs visible between them.
Mind Flayer 2B. This variant has 4 long tentacles running along the length of his left arm, with connecting webs barely visible between them.
Mind Flayer 2C. This variant has a narrow head with 4 long tentacles hanging straight downwards, with connecting webs just visible between them.
ADD79 - Mind Flayer 3
This Mind Flayer holds his right hand by his chest and his left partly extended forwards. He wears a decorated tunic with ornate epaulets and lower hem, over long robes with a high, stiff collar and plain cuffs, and a belt with a repeated 'screaming head' design.
Mind Flayer 3A. This variant has 4 long tentacles running along the left arm, with connecting webs just visible between them.
Mind Flayer 3B. This variant has 4 medium-length tentacles hanging downwards but upturned at the ends, with connecting webs just visible between them.
Mind Flayer 3C. This variant has 4 short tentacles hanging downwards but upturned at the ends and slightly spread apart, with connecting webs visible between them.
