Sisters of Battle were first released in 1997 and appeared in the 1998 catalogue. In addition to the actual Sisters of battle figures, there were a number of supplementary figures released to go with the range.
The range was re-released in 2003 as part of the release of the Witchhunters range. Most of the original figures, except the canoness and the Frateris Militia, were retained in the new release. A number of the figures were also released under the Witchhunters and/or Daemonhunters ranges.
