UIGEBEALACH (THE THEORY OF)

The Theory of Uigebealach, the philosophy of the Webway, alludes to the necessary existence of a node similar to the Crossroads of Inertia where time flows backwards. Although the Harlequins have searched long and hard for its location, it has not been found if, indeed, it does exist. Its location is rumoured to be detailed in the Book of Rhana Dandra (see Crossroads of Inertia; Harlequins; Rhana Dandra [Book Of]; Webway).

ULTHWÉ

Ulthwé is known amongst the craftworlds for the many Eldar who follow the Path of the Seer. This is believed to be due to the craftworld's proximity to the Chaos shrouded Eye of Terror. The Ulthwé make the claim that they need their numerous Farseers to keep watch for the many and varied guises of Chaos, but those from other craftworlds often claim that it is the Eye of Terror itself which has tainted the inhabitants of Ulthwé and exaggerated their psychic potential.

Of all the craftworlds, Ulthwé interferes the most in the affairs of other races. Their psykers can foresee future events with a greater precision and for a longer duration than those of other craftworlds. The Seer Council is constantly diverting the course of history to their own ends, with warriors from Ulthwé frequently being sent on missions to subtly alter the balance of fate in battles that will ultimately concern their home. Continuing reliance on psykers has left the craftworld lacking in Aspect Warriors, as the Path of the Seer is long and dangerous, leaving little time to tread other Paths. To compensate for this Ulthwé maintains a considerable standing army of Guardians known as the Black Guardians of Ulthwé (See Black Guardians; Eldrad Ulthran; Eye of Terror; Seer Council).

ULTHANASH

The House of Ulthanash is only described in Eldar mythic cycles as one of the ancient Eldar Houses, alongside that of the great hero Eldanesh (See also Eldanesh).

ULTHANESH SHELWÉ

Farseer Lsathranil of Ulthanesh Shelwé, and otherwise undescribed Craftworld, prophesied the return of the Yngir from their sleep (see also Craftworlds; Yngir).

Another term used to refer to the Eldar deities or pantheon (see Gods of the Eldar).
